Terms of service

Last updated: June 2026

These terms of service govern the cooperation between SIA "Albi Group" and its clients in connection with purchasing products, installation and the use of services. Please read them before placing an order.

1. General provisions

Definition of the parties

These terms govern the relationship between SIA "Albi Group" (hereinafter — the Company) and a natural or legal person (hereinafter — the Client) who places an order or uses the Company's services.

Scope

The terms apply to the purchase or use of PVC and aluminium windows and doors, gates and fences, metalworking, construction machinery and transport services.

Acceptance of the terms

By placing an order or signing a contract, the Client confirms that they have read and agree to these terms.

2. Placing an order

The ordering process has four steps:

01

Enquiry

The Client submits an enquiry stating the site address, the desired products or services and their contact details.

02

Consultation and measuring

A Company representative provides a consultation and, if necessary, inspects the site and takes measurements.

03

Quote

The Company prepares and submits a commercial quote. The quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is prepared.

04

Order confirmation

The order is considered confirmed once the Client has signed the contract or made the advance payment.

3. Prices and payment

Pricing

All prices are stated in euros (EUR) and include VAT unless stated otherwise. The final price is confirmed in the quote and may vary depending on dimensions, materials and installation conditions.

Advance payment

Orders sent to production usually require a 50% advance payment. The exact amount of the advance is stated in the quote or contract.

Final payment

The remaining amount is paid before delivery or installation unless the contract provides otherwise. Payments are made by bank transfer to the account specified by the Company.

Order cancellation

If the Client cancels a confirmed order after production has started, the advance payment is not refunded, to cover the costs incurred.

4. Delivery and installation

Aspect
Conditions
Production time
Usually 3–8 weeks from order confirmation. The exact time is stated in the quote.
Delivery
Delivery is arranged individually. A delivery charge may apply depending on the distance and the size of the order.
Installation
Installation is carried out by the Company's team or certified partners by separate agreement.
Client's obligations
The Client provides access to the site, the necessary conditions and electricity during installation.

If deadlines are delayed due to external circumstances or the manufacturer, the Company informs the Client as soon as possible and agrees on a new deadline.

5. Warranty

The Company provides a warranty on both the products supplied and the work carried out:

Product warranty

Products from European manufacturers carry the manufacturer's warranty under that manufacturer's terms — usually 5–10 years.

Installation warranty

The Company provides a 12-month warranty on the installation and metalworking it carries out.

Warranty conditions

The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, mechanical damage or external circumstances.

Warranty service

In warranty cases the Client contacts the Company, which remedies the defects within a reasonable time at no extra charge.

6. Limitation of liability

The Company is not liable for losses caused by the Client's improper use of the products, inadequate maintenance or the actions of third parties.

The Company's liability does not exceed the value of the order or service concerned.

The Company is not liable for delays caused by force majeure, supply disruptions at the manufacturer or other reasons beyond the Company's control.

7. Dispute resolution

The Parties seek to resolve all disputes and disagreements through negotiation. The Client first contacts the Company in writing, stating the nature of the complaint and the desired solution.

If no agreement is reached within 30 days, the dispute is referred to the courts of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

Consumers may also contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (www.ptac.gov.lv) or use the EU online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any changes to the terms take effect when they are published on the website.
